I recently haven't been able to run Photoshop 2021 in Windows 10. I get the error code "The application was not able to start correctly (0xc0000142)", and it won't load. I have Windows 10 build 2004 with all available updates. My NVidia graphics drivers are up-to-date. I have uninstalled Photoshop and reinstalled. It worked before the last PS update, which i just installed a couple days ago. Lightroom Classic works fine. Running out of things to try. Thanks

reset your preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html
if that fails, install ps using the install the cc desktop app from here https://creativecloud.adobe.com/apps/all/desktop?action=install&source=apps&productId=creative-cloud...
if you have trouble downloading, use the alternative download site at page bottom here, https://helpx.adobe.com/in/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html
if that fails, google that window's error. there's probably a system file and/or profile corruption that needs repair.

Thanks for the reply. I reset the preferences and re installed PS and still had the problem. However I was able to fix some IPP files and it works now.

Hey Steven,
having the same troubles lately. Could you please tell me which IPP files you need to fix and where you found them? Would be great. Thanks in advance for your help.
