Experiencing Error "0xc000007b" whilst running Adobe PhotoShop CC & Adobe Illustrator CC.

I downloaded the trial version of both Photoshop CC and Illustrator CC. I don't know what happened, but I can't get any of them working. I've started my trial now, and I don't want to waste it. It says, as mentioned earlier, "Cannot start application. Error code 0xc000007b" or something along those lines. I've tried checking online but the only solutions I could find were DirectX and .net, updated both but still no difference. Using Windows 8.1 x64. Help greatly appreciated, thanks in advance
