Hello,

I am seeing a style sheet error when I upload my files to web (Styles not applied to HTML files).

However, If I download the same files to my local system it works perfectly. Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks,

Abhishek

Open your code.

  • What is the filename and path that leads to your stylesheet?
  • Did you upload the CSS file to your server?
  • Keep in mind that filenames must be exact.  Linux servers are cAsE sEnSiTiVe.  In other words, mystyles.css is not the same as MyStyles.css

Thanks Nancy. Yes, It was an issue with the filename.

Need your assistance in another issue. Is there a mechanism in FrameMaker to define short file names for HTML files. Due to some character restrcition, builds are failing. How to restrict the file path/name length in FrameMaker as the file names are generated automatically by FrameMaker?

For example, PPS_Admin_Guide%2FPPS_L2Enforcement%2FPPS_Policy_Enforcement_SNMP_SSH%2FACL_Configuration_for_Default_Restricted_and_Full_Access_RoleRestricted_ACL_give_access_to_DHCP_se.htm

Abhshekbt, if you have a question about Framemaker, then please post in the Framemaker forum at https://community.adobe.com/t5/framemaker/bd-p/framemaker.
