Title says it all.  Has the option to keep older versions been removed from CC app?  Option to keep previous versions not appearing in the CCapp settings

yes.

after installing a minor version update you can then install the replaced previous minor version (or any of the previous versions as far back as one major previous version) using the cc app, if you want.

adobe allows (one major version) older versions to be retained, but minor updates usually replace the previous verision.

eg, ps 22.1.1 is going to replace ps 22.1 but won't replace ps 21.2.4

Hey, thanks kglad.

I should have been more clear.  There used to be an option in CC settings to either keep the currently installed version when updating or to delete it.  We could choose whether we wanted the update to be installed along side the previous version or to replace it.  Do we no longer get that choice?

Sorry for the confusion

you don't get that choice with minor version updates.

Thanks again.  So they removed the option from the settings menu and instead only give the choice upon install of new major version.  I was actually trying to answer a newr users question on the AE forum and suspected this was probably the case but wasn't sure as I've been away from the programs for a bit.

Thanks for your time.

Yah.  Though reinstalling an previous incrimental update does overwrite the currently installed iteration of that version.  So you can't have two incremental updates installed side by side, only two major versions.
