How do I open old director files?

I have a half dozen old director files from the mid-2000s but I no longer seem to have a copy of director. Is there an application that can open them? I tried about half of the ones in creative cloud and no luck. Given it was fully discontinued only a year ago I'm surprised their website practically denies it ever existed, which is why I'm posting in this forum. 🙂

Short answer: No.

Long answer: Adobe discontinued Director more than 7 years ago.  Support ended 3 years ago.  I think it's fair to say your old project files are about as useful as floppy disks and VHS tapes now.  Hopefully you exported all your projects to a video file type you can use.
