I have two iMacs which I use Adobe CC - one at the office and another at home - and I recently performed a clean install of macOS Sierra 10.12 on both computers. It took a day or two, but I eventually managed to download and install Adobe CC and all the apps I use on my office computer without a problem. It took a while because I live in Malawi and the Internet here is slow and unreliable. So to avoid downloading Adobe CC and all the apps again on my home iMac, I used Migration Assistant to transfer what was on my office computer to my home computer.
All the apps open and work just fine on my home computer after the migration process. The problem I am encountering is that Adobe CC doesn't sync fonts or my files. The blue progress circle keeps spinning indefinitely. Also some apps, such as Ps, Ai, XD, Lr, and Au show on my Adobe CC manager as not being installed. It shows a blue button reading 'Install' instead of 'Open' when the programme is opening and working fine on my iMac. Surely this will be a problem as I'm assuming I won't be notified of available future updates since Adobe CC doesn't detect these apps on my iMac. The only apps that show as being installed are Id, Pr, Ae, Lr, Mu and Media Encoder.
Is there something I can do to avoid multiple downloads of the same Adobe CC programmes and apps on each of my iMac's? Or do I have no choice but to clean my home iMac and download the Adobe CC and apps all over again? I wanted to avoid the latter as previously explained, our Internet is not that reliable, and it can take me days to get all the programmes I want to be downloaded.
I'm hoping someone out there can offer a solution or more information.
Cheers!
yes, don't use migration assistant, clean and properly install.
uninstall everything cc including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html
then uninstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html
clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
restart your computer (don't skip this)
reinstall the cc desktop app, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud

if you're unable to install the cc desktop app at this stage, use an administrator account (solution 3 here, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-missing-damaged.html)
use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials

Tell everyone you know who owns a Mac, including Apple employees... Mac Migration and Time Machine DO NOT WORK properly with Adobe program activations due to hidden registration files that are not included when Migration or Time Machine make their copies

How about Adobe plays ball with Apple so that people buying new computers don't have to take DAYS and TB of download bandwidth to re-do installation? Adobe BUG, not Apple?

I'm having this problem after a Time Machine migration to a new Mac. Nothing Adobe works. Now when I try to use the apps deinstaller to uninstall I'm sent into a loop to sign in that fails and gets nowhere. How do I get out of this mess?... This is on the latest Catalina 10.15.5 version.

I cannot sign in to the Creative cloud desktop app. It signs me out automatically.
Update: I downloaded a fresh version of Creative Cloud desktop app and after installing and restarting the computer, Adobe apps now open and look to work normally. Thankfully the issue was not as disastrous as feared.
