As an update for anyone who may still be interested, Fuse Beta was discontinued in Sept 2020.

https://helpx.adobe.com/beta/fuse/faq.html

Fuse is NOT compatible with macOS Catalina or Big Sur.  Fuse has been removed from Creative Cloud and is no longer available for download.

The focus has shifted to Mixamo.

update your os.

if that doesn't solve the problem and you failed to use the cc desktop app to install it, uninstall whatever you installed and then properly install fuse:

install the cc desktop app from here https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud and use it to install your adobe subscription and trial programs.

There is a bug in adobe fuse that makes you need to spam the "open" command multiple times.
