I bought Lightroom 6 this morning.  It was very hard to find the standalone version.  Everything points to joining CC but I cannot for various reasons.  I bought a new Sony camera and  LR was not accepting my RAW images that is why the upgrade.  I have figured out and got the upgrade on my iMac but I cannot find out how to install on my notebook.  Before I could just go into my account and download a second copy.  I can't seem to do this.  Adobe is making everything so hard if you do not join CC.  Can anyone help please?

No, that did not work John.  It is all very confusing.  I have finally figured it out (I am not sure how) but found somewhere to download the update but then in order to accept my RAW images I had to also download the Application Manager and update that too.  All very confusing.  If I had not owned a copy of Lightroom since it first came out and had an account with Adobe I surely would have given up.  They do everything they can to hide the fact that one can buy stand alone and just keep harping
