Illustrator CS6 reinstall issue after macOS Sierra ("Installer failed to initialize. This could be due to a missing file.")

Downloaded & installed Photoshop Elements 12 just fine.

Issues w/ Illustrator CS6. Downloaded from my account three times but each have failed. Same error, Adobe Installer popup window, "Installer failed to initialize. This could be due to a missing file. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem."

Please help.
