When I go in Security and Privacy to change to 'Allow Anywhere', that option is never there. Could it be because I have FileVault turned on?
Running macOS Sierra. v10.12.1

You don't need to turn OFF this option in the Security Prefrences if you want to keep your Mac secure. For this just right-click, or ctrl-click the installer icon and select "Open" from the menu. This way of "Open" will display an extra button to simply allow the security exemption only once. This stops people from accidentally double clicking an malitious installer and that's a good thing. Those people that only kow how to double-click are not thinking ahead. Those that know the workaround seem to know what they are up for. By the right-click method a grandma or child confirms to the OS he or she knows something is going to be installed thereafter.

Hey guys,
In my case is not working yet. I have already did the "anywhere " option. (even though my Mac does not have that anymore I changed in manually, FYI Terminal Commands: Allow Apps from Anywhere: sudo spctl --master-disable Reset Gatekeeper: sudo spctl --master-enable).
But still not working..... I even went to apple and they say is adobe the one helping me. I've spent hours on the phone and adobe only refers me to the Forums, with off course I've read all!!... Please help!!!
Thanks
Marcie

So After sending this message I was able to finally talked to Adobe (super kind).
The solution was easier than I thought.
The installation file inside the Mac OS folder, just drag and drop it on a terminal window. And Voila!
I hope this helps other people.

I am just now needing to do this and have read through this thread with no luck. Should something happen automatically once I move the install file to the terminal screen? Or do I need to do something else after that? Thanks.
