installation problem creative cloud win10

Hi folks,

I tried two hours to install Adobe CC MediaEncoder on a PC and failed.

There are no fitting hints to solve the stuff.

If I start the install exe of MediaEncoder than the install app window opens with asking permission to open a browser window. After giving the permission the browser window makes the connection, says activation is OK and the browser window can be closed. But in the install window nothing happens. No error code, just nothing and there is no install process at all.

What to do?

This tool was not installing.

But ME should install anyway and install the desktop app by the way.

Unfortunately it did not...

First of all, I have a question.

Had you installed any other application from Adobe before taking up this installation?

If yes, then install CCleaner to clean all the Adobe-related files on your PC.

Clean your disk using CCleaner and thus make your Windows 10 system free of the Adobe installation files and settings.

Once that is done then Install MediaEncoder in the usual way.

Hi folks,

in the meantime I had a chat with the adobe support.

The problem could be solved with a remote operation.

Something with the so called automated install process went wrong.

Unfortunately I can't report the details.
