Installing InDesign CC2017 with Mac OS X 10.15

I'm needed to install InDesign CC2017 on my new Mac.

On the Mac runs OSX 10.15. The CC application console doesn't support this old version of InDesign.

I found an installer for CC2017 but this one is only 32-bit compatible.

Has anyone a idea how I can get InDesign CC on my new Mac?

Catalina, by design, needs all new apps. Only CC2020 was updated with Apple's new rules. This is a huge obstacle for people who need to run older apps.

You could consider running an older version of macOS too

- if the Mac is not brand new, dual boot to an external disk

- if the Mac is new, using a virtual machine such as Parallels desktop

Getting hold of the installer for older macOS, if you have not already saved it, is a challenge. Buying a used, older, Mac may be cost effective.
