Hi, I want to make an update of my IMac toward OS X El Capitan. Is Adobe creative Suite 6 working properly on this version?

Well, that was 5 years ago. If you want to upgrade macOS, get up to date. Only you can't; El Capitan is too new for CS6 and too old for CC.

It is not strange that the link has changed.
In any case, CS6 was support end in 2014 and OS X 10.11 was support end in 2018.
