Issues with Adobe suite on Rosetta, with m1 MacBook Pro

I'm running a few Adobe apps on my macbook pro, m1, with 8gb ram. Premier performance isn't great at all, and I can't run Illustrator without it crashing/freezing constantly.

Would it be beneficial to return this macbook, and instead get an Intel based macbook pro, i5, with 16 gb of ram?

I don't want to return this macbook, and then a week later have Adobe update their apps to natively run on Rosetta. But I love adobe suite and need it to work appropriately.
