I have just downloaded the latest version of Photoshop CC (2017) and it won't even open. It says 'Adobe Photoshop CC 2017 has stopped working'. When I click 'Debug' it says 'An unhandled win32 exception occurred in Photoshop.exe [22540].
I have tried loading it up holding down Ctrl+Alt+Shift to delete the settings file (as someone else suggested) but it didn't fix the problem.
Anyone know how I can fix this?

Mine opens, but opens to just a blank grey page, i can click open document and it goes to file search but when i click the document to open, nothing happens, once i force quit using ctrl, alt and delete its still there in the background and i have to force close it again.
The same happens with After Effects.

damn indeed, typically got a deadline this weekend as well!
just been online chatting with Ad and they took over my computer, scary moment! lol
but they created a new user on my machine (windows 10) and then the apps seemed to work.
So some strange corruption with regards to adobe cloud being signed in to my current profile I'm assuming, no resolve as of yet, he said he'd escalate the problem and id hear back on email so ill update here if I get anything back.

Kinkersnick127, Sknne77, Russell PROCOPY, NoahDIDesign, IbT, and Ade do you receive any errors during the installation process for Photoshop CC 2017. You can find details on how to locate the installation log files at Creative Cloud 2015 download and install errors. If you are seeing any errors in the log then please feel free to post them to this discussion.
If Photoshop CC 2017 is installed properly but not functioning then I would encourage you to post in the Photoshop General Discussion forum at Photoshop General Discussion .
I am sorry that you are all facing difficulties launching Photoshop CC 2017. Since this discussion is in the Creative Cloud Download & Install forum I want to verify that there are no installation failures which are causing the current difficulties you are experiencing in Photoshop CC 2017.

Hey Jeff,
Thanks for the response. No install errors here, and no log files showing any problems. I will re-post my original message into the Photoshop forum though, if you think that will help...

Thanks for update Kinkersnick127. Yes if you are not facing a download or install error then community for the software title will be able to provide more guidance on why the application itself is crashing or not behaving as expected.

Thanks for the update IbT. From your log it appears you are receiving Error Code 130 when attempting to install the new updates? Are other individuals in this discussion thread receiving the same error in the installation logs? An example from Ibt's install logs can be found below:

checked mine and dont see any errors on install, the app works if I set up a temp user on windows 10, that's the odd thing, somewhere along the lines Ps Ae and Ap boot up, but the hang when they get into the initial screen and no welcome message pops up or anything. But on the other account it works, cannot for the life of me figure out why.

WARN: Check and correct file/folder & parent directory permission and then try again. (Failed in GetNamedSecurityInfo)

Please note that after the failure, I removed Photoshop 2017 and reinstalled 2015.5 and get the SAME crash with 2015.5 now. At teh moment I am unable to install and run any version.

FIXED
I found a link to the fix in another post... It worked for me. I'm up and running now.

Please refer the article below to solve this issue Photoshop crashes with Lavasoft Chrome extension installed
You may also simply rename the file LavasoftTcpService64.dll to Old.LavasoftTcpService64.dll located :-C:\Windows\system32\LavasoftTcpService64.dll and that should fix the problem.

Thank you IbT for the update that your were also facing difficulty with Lavasoft.
For other individuals affected by Error Code 130, and removing the Lavasoft Chrome extension does not resolve the issue, then please remove the current installation and reinstall. Error Code 130 should be a temporary error and removal and reinstalling should allow for a successful installation.

that's what I got, and still having issues, I obviously haven't got the same issues as the ones that this Lavasoft dll removal solved.
My issue is across the apps, Ps, Ae and Ap, they boot up but just hang
