I am in process moving the applications to a new PC. When I was ready to move the licenses, I found out that my granddoughter, which got the old PC, uninstalled both applications! What can I do now? I must say that Adobe's help is pretty well nonexistent. Does anybody know how I, as a private person, can get in touch with an actual Adobe tech support?

PLEASE, HEEEEEEELP!!!

When you can't deactivate a serial number
BE SURE TO ONLY ASK FOR ACTIVATION SUPPORT TO ADJUST YOUR ACTIVATION COUNT
You may need to PERSIST or TRY AGAIN to find a support agent with more experience

Be sure to remain signed in with your Adobe ID before accessing the link
Do be aware that Adobe's staffing is impacted by the virus, so wait times are long
-make sure that your browser does NOT block ads, scripts, or pop-ups
-you must also allow 'cookies' in your web browser for the link to work

Thank you! This sounds like it should work. I'll give it a try when I am at the site.

I'm not sure why you are concerned that the apps were uninstalled. Your granddaugher did the right thing, they were not HER applications, she had no license and so it would have been illegal for her to use them. You certainly should not have left them on the PC when giving it away or selling it, that is very wrong.

But the reason it doesn't matter to you is that you can't "move" apps from one PC to another. You need to reinstall the apps from your original disks or downloads. I hope you kept them.

Let me correct you. I did move these applications a few times. Normal process is:

1 Install the app on the new PC.
2 There is a 30 day period in which to make sure that everything works fine.
3 Deactivate the app on the old PC.
4 After successful activation of the app on the new PC, RESET the old PC and let new user set it as needed.

NOTE: Even if the app is left on the old PC, it will not run, since it is DEACTIVATED.
