Making a timeline

I was wondering if it's possible to build a timeline of 4000 yrs history, whereupon you can zoom in to a particular period by clicking on it.

It should be possible to save it offline, and open it offline.

If anyone knows whether it's possible or not, and if it is possible: which adobe program I should use for it, please tell me.

It's doable yeah but you'll probably need multiple programmes and a lot of patience.

I think I need Illustrator, but I'm afraid I can't make an interactive applet by that program. So, do u have any suggestions about which programmes I can use? Flash is not a good option, cuz that's only for online things.

Create your graphics in Illustrator.

Use Animate CC to create your Timeline and output it to HTML5 Canvas.
