Hello. I have Photoshop CS5 on a computer that will probably die soon, so I want to move Photoshop to my other computer. However, because I purchased the software several years ago, I don't have the box/packaging anymore, so I don't know what the serial number is. Will this be a problem? Do I need that info to transfer Photoshop? Is the serial number somewhere on my computer?
I can see 2 options on Photosohp CS5: "suspend activation" or "deactivate permanently," can I do one of these?

first yes, you need your serial number. you have 3 ways to recover a serial number that you once had:1. if you purchased from or registered with adobe (automatically done with cs6):, a. you can check your account, https://accounts.adobe.com b. you can check with adobe support* (be prepared to give the email address used when registering purchasing)2. if your adobe program is installed on another computer you can recover its serial number from that computer, (win:) http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html...
Download and installation help for Prodesigntools links are listed on most linked pages. They are critical; especially steps 1, 2 and 3 which also apply to eLearning Sute 2.5. If you click a link that does not have those steps listed, open a second window using the Lightroom 3 link to see those 'Important Instructions'.
And a big thank you to Jim @ Prodesigntools for helping me with these links!
Catalina, Apple's new system, was specifically designed so no old apps will run. Creative Suite has been obsolete for many years. So you need to get up to date. Creative Cloud is subscription-only today. Approx $50/month for all apps, $10/month for Photoshop, $20/month for other single apps. You commit to pay this for a whole year.
