I have a new iMac and would like to use my old version (CS5, vesion 12) of Photoshop. Can someone plase let me know how I can transfer it over?

Budget for new Mac, budget for new apps. Catalina cannot run any old software at all. Time to subscribe to Creative Cloud.

In addition to what John T Smith said about installing,  the legacy Creative Suite installers won't work on Sierra or higher without terminal workarounds.  See link below for details.

Keep in mind, this might not work because CS5 was built to run on a much older mac OS  Leopard.   If you're already on Catalina, ignore above and get a paid Creative Cloud plan.
