After Adobde Cloud updates my installed applications, it leaves the older version on my computer.

Is this normal. Can I remove the older version(s) without any effect on my current work?

Don_J by default the older applications are left on the computer. You can always use the process listed in https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html when you are ready to remove the older versions.

Alternatively, you can adjust this behavior within the Creative Cloud desktop app preferences.  You can choose to always have older versions removed.  For more information see https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/update-app.html.

Jeff, Thank You.

One other question, in Premere, actually Photoshop and After Effects also, the new version does not show the project that I was working on last night. How can I get my work history in the new versions?

Again, thanks for the reply.

Don

Don, I wish I had a definitive answer for you, but our different apps deal with their saved files in different ways.

You may want to start a new discussion, with that specific question, in the Get Started forum or the forums for each of the application titles you are concerned about.  You can find a list of our available public discussion forums at https://community.adobe.com.
