Photoshop 22.v2 update

After the photoshop 22.v2 update my .dng files will not open in the current 2021 photoshop from bridge.  They will only open in the 2020 version.

Do you have kept your former version of Photoshop when you install the update to version 22?

If yes try to deinstall the older version.

If this doesn't help reinstall Photoshop CC 2021.

LATEST

I deleted the former versions of photoshop.  Still could not open the .dng files.  Then I reinstalled the photo shop CC2021.  Before trying to open a .dng I restarted my computer and now CC2021works.  I cannot be sure that deleting the former versions and restarting the computer would have done the trick but I am satisfied with the results I have now.

Thank you for the advice.  I am good to go.
