Portfolio - Custom Domain

Hello,

Several years ago I had access to the Creative Cloud through my company’s account. I set up an Adobe Portfolio site and directed it toward a custom domain name. I have since left that company and no longer have access to Portfolio and the site now reads an error message from Adobe Portfolio. I am looking to reconnect my domain name to a new site, but logging into my DNS & webhosting platform, I don’t see any sign of a redirection to Portfolio. Wondering if there was some kind of “takeover” command in Portfolio? I know it might sound silly, but I can’t find any indication that Portfolio should be connected to my domain name. Thanks for any help.

The Domain Name you originally purchased had to have its A records pointing directly to the Portfolio IP address.  No re-direct was involved.   But it's all a moot point now because your site is long gone.
