I selected Illustrator, then went to "Pay now".... The amount is zero because our institute has an institute-wide license so individuals do not have to pay.
In this interaction with Adobe I had never, so far, been asked to enter Visa card information. I suspect this may be the problem, despite the $zero bill.
Does anyone know of a tel number to contact a human?
In that case you do not buy yourself, you contact the person in your organization who controls the account and have them give you the link to download the special version
