reinstall older version of elements

I am unable to transfer Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 from my old laptop to new one. Both computers are Windows 10, 64 bit. I have tried al the suggestions I can find from ethernet cable, file transfer, and downloading the free trial and then using my serial numbler. Nothing is working. Any other ideas?

Your old serial number will not work with the new version trial

You must use your original install disc or download install file
