I started my free trial a week ago, downloaded one program that day; spent the last five days trying to download other programs to no avail: "cannot connect to servers" checked status.adobe and there has been maintanence each time, often in blocks of 12 to 24 hours... I'm wondering if this is an anomaly? Or is this just how Adobe opperates? Can I manually switch to a different server? is there only one US server?

there are frequent maintenance events but cc servers still work.

confirm that you can connect to the secure adobe servers by reading, http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html

do you see both logos? if you can and still see a connection error, white list the adobe network endpoints, https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/kb/network-endpoints.html

Went through the first page, everything is in order... having trouble finding where/how to whitelist websites... all I'm finding in firewall settings are for IP addresses and applications
