Unable to Activate Creative Suite 5.5

Hi,

I've tried contacting Adobe Support via Web Chat over the past day and have received no response from them (not even a greeting) so will post here in case an Adobe employee is monitoring the forums.

I purchased Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 for Windows back in 2012 and installed it on my then new desktop. A couple months ago I replaced my desktop with a new one and recent attempted to install Creative Suite 5.5 on it. However, when I attempt to activate Creative Suite I get an error stating that the product has already been activated on another device and that I need to deactivate the product on the other device to continue. Unfortunately, the prior desktop I had Creative Suite on was wiped once I got the new desktop and so deactivation is no longer possible.

I'm wondering if it would be possible for Adobe to allow me to activate Creative Suite 5.5 on my new desktop? This adobe product is linked to the Adobe account I am posting from.

Thanks in advance,

James

You have to contact the Adobe support. Only the support can deactivate your activation

This is a public forum, not the link to Adobe support.

Sorry, but we're normal users and we can't help with managing the de-/activation of older installations
