Unable to correct primary email address

Adobe lists my email with a ".con"  instead of a   ".com " when i go to edit the correct email it says that my primary adobe id is "invalid" but the email ending in ".con "is valid???? 

 

I have tried and tried with Adobe but they so far have been useless in fixing this. Any  suggestions?

 any help would be much appreciated
