On Wednesday 5/27 one of our staff got the attached error message stating that "Adobe could not verify your subscription status" and was unable to work at all that day. I called Adobe and was on hold for an hour and ended up hanging up. Apparently the issue resolved itself the next day and he was up and running. Anyone else have this issue? He was not having internet connectivity issues at the time. Wanting to see if this was a broader issue, why it happened, and what a future workaround could be as we can't have a video editor down for a full day. Thanks!

Adobe was having issues across all its sites and applications. It affected everyone trying to use those sites and applications and lasted pretty much all day. This is the official statement:

"As Adobe customers log in to Experience Cloud, Creative Cloud, or Document Cloud, Adobe authentication services validate user credentials against customer configured identity repositories. To enforce access control on behalf of our customers, Adobe authentication services process millions of authentication and session validation requests per minute. While a comprehensive root cause analysis is still underway, the initial investigation points to a series of internal authentication requests that temporarily overwhelmed system resources and resulted in UI login and API authentication issues. In order to assist with recovery, technical teams recalibrated Adobe authentication services throughout. By 1:15 PM PDT, Experience Cloud, Creative Cloud, and Document Cloud services resumed normal operations.
Adobe is taking the following actions:
•To help prevent a recurrence, additional Adobeauthentication services resources have been deployed
•Engineering teams are continuing to monitor adobe authentication services while conducting a root cause analysis on the incident
•A solution for the series of internal authentication requests is being developed and targeted for imminent release"
