Unable to open CC Apps - blank box, no error message

Suddenly overnight, my CC apps won't operate. I signed into Adobe tonight to work, the app (eg: LR or PS) appears to open, but then this blank box appears and it just stays on this screen.  If I close this box, the app automatically closes, so I can't access it.

I have tried restarting my computer, uninstalling and reinstalling the apps, but it is still not working.  

Can anyone please help?  I am trying to access some information stored for work tomorrow.
