Since a couple of weeks, update in "Creative Cloud" app on a Mac does not work anymore. It shows available update, but neither pressing the button nor auto-update do anything. No error message.
Anybody faced the same problem? Any idea on a solution?
for many adobe programs your need 10.14 or 10.15
what's your os version and what program are you trying to update?
'm running 10.15 and it worked for a long time until the latest realeses (like PS 22.0.0).I tried "Update All", as well as all the other five available updates. Also, I enabled auto-update. Sorry for the German, "Aktualisieren" means "Update".
try resetting the cc app: To reset the Creative Cloud desktop app, make sure it's in the foreground, then press:Win: Ctrl + Alt + RMac: Cmd + Opt + Rif that fails, try to repairhttps://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-install-stuck.htmlif that fails go ahead and uninstall/reinstall per the above linkif that fails, do a clean cc install following each applicable step:uninstall every cc app including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.htmlthen uninstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.htmlclean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.htmlcheck for, and if available, update your osrestart your computer (don't skip this)reinstall the cc desktop app, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.if you're unable to install the cc desktop app at this stage, use an administrator account (solution 4 here, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-missing-damaged.html)use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials
Ressetting had no effect but repairing obviously helped, it is updating now.
Still a bit strange, that there was no error message at all, just no reaction...
i don't know why that happened, but am glad to hear it's working now.
if you can, save this link because whatever broke your cc app (eg, av) is probably still lurking.
