What do you use for a DAM (digital asset manager)?

Dear Community,

I'm seeking simple DAM software to manage all my files (.jpg, .tiff, .png, .indd, .ai, .pdf etc). Believe or not I used Googles' Picasa for years and it was purrrfect.  I don't need all the editing effects, just a file finder that is smooth and fast and the search function yeilds everything including what's in a folder.  What do you use?  I've tried to pick up Bridge, but I just don't like it (no offense Adobe). I'll probably try the CC version, but am not counting on it.  I hate how when I scroll down, it's not smooth like I'm used to on nearly every website when I scroll down.

Please help!

Sincerely,

Melanie
