Where is the chat support option??

I have an open support case,

but when I click on the "chat with support now" in that email,

or on the "Contact Us. Real help from real people. Start now" on a problem page here,

I only get to the support page with the three tiles on top and no way to initiate a chat!

I am signed in.

I’ve been going around in circles for hours now, and I don’t recall how I even could open up a support case earlier.

Does anyone have a deep link to a chat window?

Thanks Manan,

but no chat icon shows up, neither in Firefox (with script blockers turned off) nor in vanilla Edge nor Chrome.

Thanks for the cookie mention, Manan: it prompted me to look into that.

As an EU user, I am presented with the cookie selection/privacy settings dialog, where one enables or disables (apart from "essential" cookies) also "performance", "extend functionality" and "personalize ads" cookies.

"Chat" apparently is not an "essential" cookie (a choice I, personally, severely question), but rather an "extend functionality" cookie (examples of which uses otherwise are "remember username, returned visits, preferred language, location"), because enabling cookies to "extend functionality" makes the chat icon appear.
