Where is the [discontinued] Fireworks CS6 application download?

The Fireworks CS6 application seems to have been removed from the Creative Cloud desktop app and I can't find a download link on the Adobe site. I know it is a legacy application but I have years of files created with Fireworks I need access to and if my install should become corrupt or I change computer, I'll need the install file. Please can you advise where I can download? Thanks.

MoniquevanGent,

Since 2012, Fireworks is discontinued.  If you have a Teams/Enterprise account, please contact your IT dept admin for assistance.

For Individuals with a PAID Creative Cloud All Apps Plan, please open CC Desktop App and

1. Click on Preferences (gear icon).

2. Go to APPS.

3. Scroll down to Settings and toggle Show Older Apps.  See screenshots.

It sucks, it was a great product.  Why did they buy it from macromedia and then trash it.  I hate Adobe

SO EASY- Go to FILE then Go to PREFERENCES then SCROLL DOWN AND TOGGLE to SHOW OLDER APPS and BAM THERE IT IS. It's my favorite too, so I feel your pain.

In the CC desktop app but for CS6 that doesn't apply.

Adobe removed all older apps from the CC DTA and only allows the last one or 2 older apps to be reinstalled.

Thanks, Angie.

You were right. Enable SHOW OLDER APPS in Preferences in your Adobe Creative Cloud Mgt App and Fireworks appears.

FW appears on the page that shows all apps - but no way to open it!

In my Preferences, there is no "SHOW OLDER APPS" choice.

Thanks, Nancy! I have been on CC for many years, until they discontinued Fireworks, which is the software I have used since it came out, in combination with Dreamweaver. Because CC is no longer supporing FW, I discontinued CC a while ago, and am on a 7-day trial again, just to try out your suggestion. But being on a trial perhaps is why the "Show Older Apps" is not showing.

That's correct.  Trial members, FREE members and Single App plan members do not have access to discontinued software.

Since I am only interested in FW and DW, I wonder if CC could get me a membership for just theses 2 apps.... Otherwise, for not using the rest, $60 per month is a bit steep for just two apps. So I will continue to use my old computers when using those 2 softwares. And THX Nancy, for your helpful screenshots.

"I am only interested in FW and DW, I wonder if CC could get me a membership for just theses 2 apps."

Unfortunately, no.  DW CC as a single app won't give you access to Fireworks.  And Fireworks is not sold as a single app subscription because it's discontinued.

"So I will continue to use my old computers when using those 2 softwares."

Yes, I understand.

This doesn't help any more. The correct answer is Angie Seegers below from MWW Management - MANY THANKS! Works with the new CC app.
