I've been using Adobe Creative Suite 4 (2008), installed on an "old" HP Pavilion All-In-One desktop, for just 2 things: My wife's home-based business and prelim composing of my fine art acrylic paintings.
I need a new computer. Does anyone know if a new model will support the "old", reliable Adobe Creative Suite 4?

A new Windows computer will have Windows 10
Two ideas that MAY work to install and/or run old programs in Windows 10
-RIGHT click the program icon or EXE and select a compatibility mode in the pop up option window
-and/or select Run as Administrator to assign FULL Windows permissions

Depends. Maybe yes, maybe no. See CS4 system requirements.

Your old reliable CS4 is outdated by modern standards. And support has ended so you're on your own if something doesn't work.
That said, Windows users have a better time with legacy software than Mac users do. Apple doesn't care about maintaining backwards compatibility. At least with Win10, you can run in Win7 compatibility mode. But over time, any machine will reach it's breaking point when old software stops working. That's the risk you take with upgrading your hardware and not the software.
