I just purchased a new Mac and bought the Creative Cloud mainly for Dreamweaver. It immediately goes to "Not Responding" upon trying to open. I have Sonoma 14.2 with an M3 chip. Is there going to be a fix soon or do I need to cancel my subscription?
Thanks for writing to us. Can you please confirm the Dw version on which the issue is being observed. Also, please update macOS Sonoma to the latest version and see if the issue gets resolved. We can have a remote connect session at your convinient time for further investigating the behavior on your Mac machine.

Also - 14.2 is out of date. Unfortunately there were many bugs introduced in Sonoma from Apple that were not resolved until the 14.3.x releases. One of these was a constant crashing of Dreamweaver whenever you used code view and right click.
For your case, I would recommend upgrading to 14.3.x or the recent 14.4 release of Sonoma. Then if you still encounter issues and your installation was from the migration assistant then you may need to run the cleaner tool and re-install. Before you do that always back up sites from DW so you don't lose the definitions of your ftp credentials/etc.
I upgraded my MacOS to 14.4. My install of Dreamweaver was not from a migration, but from the installer I downloaded from you. It still will not open. I did notice that it's date is 2021 while my other apps are 2024. Did I download an earlier version? If so, where would I find the updated one?

I can assure you that it was not downloaded from me. These are user to user support forums and we are all like you, a user of Adobe software. Adobe employees may be on the forum from time to time but for official support you can reach out to Adobe via X or via their chat assistant ( https://www.adobe.com/about-adobe/contact.html ).
You are correct that DW is a 2021 release as DW is in minimal maintenance mode and is nearing end of life. At present it only receives critical updates. In fact, the bug I referenced in the thread was a bug on Apple's side that was corrected in the 14.3 release which is why I suggested that as the first option.
If you are still receiving the error, I would consider using the CC Cleaner tool to remove all pieces of Adobe software and try re-installing. One other solution I have used in the past is to create a new user profile on the computer if you had been doing upgrades/migrations, but if this is a new computer and there was no migration that took place, I don't think this would solve your issue.
