Problème avec des raccourcis Dreamweaver 21.5 (mac os Sequoia)

New Here ,
May 19, 2025 May 19, 2025

Depuis la dernière mise à jour vers la version 21.5, les raccourcis clavier pour indenter le code ne fonctionne plus.

De plus, même en modifiant les raccourcis les modifications ne sont pas prises en compte.

Quelqu'un peut-il m'aider ?

Merci d'avance

Hi @Gally79,

Thanks for writing to us. We apologize for the issue you are observing with keyboard shortcuts on macOS Sequoia. As a workaround can you please try setting a custom keyboard shortcut e.g. Cmd+9 and click on Change button. Please refer to the below KB article for setting custom keyboard shortcuts. We will further investigate the issue internally and try getting this resolved on macOS Sequoia.

Thank you for your reply.
In the default set of keyboard shortcuts, code indentation is indicated with "cmd+< " (in the shortcuts table) but appears with "cmd+;" in the Edit menu.

If I change this shortcut to "cmd+9", it works. In the shortcuts table and in the Edit menu, the two shortcuts are now identical.

However, it's impossible to change "cmd+< " it doesn't work. This was the shortcut for code indentation until the latest version.

Is this a Dreamweaver bug or a compatibility issue with Sequoia?

Thanks in advance.

If changing shortcuts is not working a couple things I have tried in the past:

1. Run Mac Disk Utility - This will repair permissions as if the shortcuts cannot change, this could indicate a permissions issue on Mac

2. Try logging in as another user on the computer and see if the issue persists. Having been a Mac user myself for a long time, I have gone through this process occassionally as updates have caused odd corruption errors where I've had to migrate my documents/etc. from one user account to another on the Mac.

If those both are not working, then it would be safe to assume that this is a bug either with DW or OS that Adobe would need to investigate further.

Thank you for your reply.

I tried your options, but it doesn't work.

In addition to the keyboard shortcut mentioned in my first post, I can't type "I" (capital i) in my code; Dreamweaver performs a paste. There is no shift+i shortcut in Dreamweaver.

I suspect this bug is indeed due to the latest Dreamweaver update.
Could an Adobe employee help me?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Gally79,

Thanks for trying. Sure, we can have a remote connect session and further troubleshoot the behavior with the keyboard shortcuts.

Have a pleasant day!

LATEST

Hello,

I can't let you log in to my computer; we have strict IT security rules.

I noticed that the problem with using shift+i (which becomes shift+v) is only on my MacBook Pro. It has the latest version of the OS, while the Mac Mini has the second-to-latest version.
I think it must be a version incompatibility between the latest version of Sequoia OS and the latest version of Dreamweaver.

Thanks
