A Ruler Request for Code Mode

This is a link to an image of what I'm referring to.

I'm not quite sure where to post a request for a future Dreamweaver feature addition. Moreso a feature change.

I'd really find it useful to be able to use the ruler at least at the top of the document you're currently working on, while in "Code" mode.
Is there anywhere that I might be able to request this? Or is there a way to make it offer me the option to use it in code mode? Because right now, the option is greyed out unless you are in "Design" mode.
The link to an image of what I'm referring to is posted above.

Any help would be appreciated, greatly.
Thanks and keep up the great work.

Best Wishes,
Amber.

I also fail to see the value, but if the OP wishes to submit a feature
request, the correct way to do so is through this form:

http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform

When submitting this or any other request, add a brief explanation of
why the feature is desirable.

Thank you for the link. Much appreciated.

The reason I would like a ruler in code view, only at the top mind you, is purely for formatting purposes. I'm anal retentive and I like things neat, orderly and organized. UltraEdit has a ruler at the top and I find it very useful when creating my sites and it helps make things "presentable" to some of my clients instead of showing them "chicken scratch" I can give them something nice, neat and orderly and it helps me keep myself in check because it's easier to see where one thing starts and another ends when I can keep things properly formatted where I want it, not where an application wants me to place my tags.

Here's an image of basically what I'm getting at.

Have you tried Command > Apply Source Formatting in DW?

Are you running DW8 which has a Coder's toolbar in Code View?

It offers code collapse, select parent tag, balance braces and several code
formatting options etc so you can manage your code and navigate through it
quickly and easily.

The above can be useful but not in code view.
