Adobe Animate CC files not working after being loaded to the server

Hi,

I had a few Animate CC files on my website that used to run fine. The html page loaded and the animation worked fine, but not anymore. When I go to one of the pages, I get a blank screen.

My website is created in Wordpress, but the Animate CC files are copied to a sub directory on my website so they can play freely without having to be part of the wordpress application. I published my Animate files without any issues and copied over all the published files: the html file, js file and images to the sub directory I created on the server. Everything played fine from April 2017 until now. Then, last week, I made some updates to the Wordpress site as well as updating my version of php on my hosting server to 7.0.

After making these updates, the Animate CC html file no longer loads. Below is an example of one of the pages that won't load. When I go to the link, only a blank screen appears.

Any thoughts as to why this would be happening? I thought maybe some export settings were outdated, so I went back to my work file and republished everything, but it still does not work. Could my server's php settings even affect this? I'm at a loss as to why it would. If it's not the php settings, what could be happening at the server side that would be affecting the file's ability to load? It loads fine in Dreamweaver, and when I preview it in Firefox and Chrome.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

I have moved your question from Adobe Creative Cloud to the  Dreamweaver support forum.

It's impossible to say exactly what's going on without a URL to the problem page online.

EDIT:  I now see that you did post a URL.  Sorry I missed that before.

You have blocked content from mixing HTTP with HTTPS.

looking to your problem , it looks like if the ANimate JS link and file (the ones that create the canvas) are missing from the hosting HTML file.

as your didn't stop the indexes of directories, one can navigate into your tree folder structure, and I didn't find those files. can you isolate any working example from animate, and then upload it on a test folder and give us the url ?

No, this is not the issue. All the files (js and images) are all linked up and located together in the same folder together on the server.

Thank you! This seems to be the correct issue. When I test it at

http://www.getinthejar.com/CE-Banner-Ads/160x600/160x600bannerUnderdogFinal.html

(without the https) it works fine. I did set up my site with a SSL certificate recently, so perhaps something isn't set up correctly from the server side? Do you think I need to speak to the hosting company to resolve this, or is there something more I need to do at the file side?

I see nothing at the non-https location.   Clear your browser's cache memory or switch to a new browser.

Thank you Nancy OShea. This is resolved thanks to you!

I completely forgot that I had added the SSL certificate to my site and this was the problem. I just needed to go into the html file and change the script reference link in the head to go to https:// instead of http://

It all loads fine now.

I moved the files to a new folder to run the test and it works great now! See link:

Thanks again!
