Hi, I have the same problem.

After upgrading to Big Sur I have lost the sintax coloration in Dreamweaver.

I had the same black screen as in the picture, but I changed the preferences and now I have a white screen but the code is all in black color without syntax coloration as it was before (and this happens even if syntax coloration in the option code is selected).

I am using Big Sur but have been using a custom theme and have not experienced that yet. Can you go to Dreamweaver --> Preferences --> Interface and try another theme and see if the same problem persists?

Yes, I tryed all the themes in Dreamweaver but no chance to get colors back.

I even tryed to modify in the General Settings the "night shift" and the color mode but no way to have the view I had before the update.

Hi I had similar issues. My code colour is black only now even though I have tried all the themes in Interface preferences. What kind of custom theme do you use? Could you point me a direction to where I can find a similar one? Thank you.

Using the "classic" theme in the preferences interface let me have the white background.

But the syntax coloration is very important and it is a shame that it has disappeared!

I contacted adobe help and was instructed to uninstall and reinstall Dreamweaver. Now the syntax colour codes are functioning fine again.

Today I launched Dreamweaver and everything is perfect! I have my syntax colouration back, so the problem is solved.

Can you please confirm if you are still facing issue regarding the color.

Please try resetting preferences or re-installing DW and check if issue resolved for you as well.
