All text is covered in black background

Hi, I am very new on adobe dreamweaver and have a problem with my coding. So, I want to write some text underneath an image and the text keeps getting under or has the same color as a black box.

So, the question is, how do I remove the black box that you see under the image?

I will add screenshots of the styles.css and how the website looks like with the black box:

Answers are contained in your HTML & CSS code. Without seeing both, it's hard to see what you've done..

Try removing black background from your CSS.  Or move the image and text to another <div> tag.

In the future, please copy & paste both HTML and CSS code into a web forum reply.

Hope that helps.
