Any way to get rid of the Git window without force quitting?

We use Git with Dreamweaver. After doing anything with Git, the Git Results dialog window remains onscreen. It has no close box or any way I can find to dismiss it, but when it's up, nothing else can be used in Dreamweaver. This means I have to force-quit Dreamweaver after every Git use. Anyone know a solution to this?

To Close GIT panel, click on the 3 bars icon to the right and select Close.

To close Results panel, use F7 on your keyboard.

Hope that helps.

Thanks. I'm not referring to the Git panel, but to the Git dialog box that appears while Git is doing something.

Sorry.  I don't use GIT.  Did you try hitting the ESC key on your keyboard?

Are you on a Mac or Windows? I use GIT frequently in Dreamweaver on Windows and don't have this issue. Also, which version of Dreamweaver?

This is the dialog box I'm referring to. When it's up, the only thing you can do is force-quit the app. There is no way I can find to close it, and while it's there, it owns the foreground and you can't click on anything else.

I have the same problem. Dreamweaver current version. Macos different versions.
Does anyone have any idea? Or can adobe add a "close" button? Most of the time the buggy window is behind the filelist and you don't see it.
Problem exists for several months. with time it is very annoying.
