asp.net master pages

New Here ,
Jan 29, 2010 Jan 29, 2010

I am an asp.net developer and ive just started playing around with Dreamweaver cs4.  I get an error opening sites with masterpages "the file ~/masterpage.master does not exist".  I have read that older versions of DW did not support asp master pages, is that the case (still)?

is there a workaround?

thanks

I don't use ASP.NET, but if older versions of Dreamweaver didn't support .NET master pages, CS4 certainly won't. Support for ASP.NET server behaviors and recordsets was removed from CS4. See http://go.adobe.com/kb/ts_kb402489_en-us.
