Is it possible to connect to DW where I'm able to edit and upload my content through DW?
You should still be able to connect to your BC site, by setting the site definition details.
You will require the folder you should upload/download the files from/to, and the ftp connection details, (user name and password) for your BC account.

Thank you all for your help. The FTP part is what threw me off, seeing that Adobe no longer has it integrated with D.W. I didn't know what to add to the FTP address. I'll test this out and let you know if it uploads.

As I don't use BC myself, I'm not sure if Modules are still accessible from DW CC 2017. I think you can still use the Admin Console's "Develop" mode though. See Business Catalyst's Modules | Business Catalyst Developers

Downloading via ftp from the site, will only download what is included in the sites folder.
If i remember correctly, (and i have not looked at BC for 7-8 years) the modules were the 'component' equivalent of the codeing structure, provided by the now deprecated extension, and not included in the users file structure itself when the site was uploadad to the server.
