behaviors, pop-up menu

New Here ,

Hi, I appreciate any help in advance. I have applied a pop-up menu to an image using behaviors but when I press f12 to preview the page in a browser window and roll over the image, the pop-up menu is displayed but it shows up behind any layers that overlap it. Is there a way to bring the menu data to the front so that it shows over everything? Thanks!

We were afraid of that. You have encountered but one of the reasons that
this pop-up menu is reviled by anyone with any experience. You may be
interested in reading this blog post by the person who adapted that code for
Macromedia to use in DWMX -

http://www.losingfight.com/blog/2006/08/11/the-sordid-tale-of-mm_menufw_menujs/

There are much better ways to do such things. But tell us which version of
DWMX you are using - is it 6.0 or 6.1?

dang, that blog was not very encouraging! I'm using 7.0 I believe. So I can copy menu code from somewhere else that will work?

No kidding. Honestly speaking, the pop-up menus are just a joke.

Check the uberlink and MacFly tutorials at PVII -
http://www.projectseven.com/

and the Navbar tutorial/articles at Thierry's place
http://tjkdesign.com/articles/dropdown/

Or this one (more recent article):

Or to get it done fast, go here -

I purchased pop menu magic and it worked great but when I uploaded the files to the internet, instead of the graphic boxes coming up on the pages, only the text came up. Any Ideas? Everything else posted fine just the nav bar is text instead of the graphic boxes. I edited a little bit of the code in the menu files the change the color of the boxes just a bit and also to make the font size a little bit bigger. When I pressed f12 in dreamweaver the preview was working great. Thanks for your help!!
