Bootstrap 4 for DW

Any idea when bootstrap 4 will be integrated withing DW?

The official 4.0 version is already released.

How can i make sure my existing site, which is using older bootstrap 3.7 is migrated to bootstrap 4.0?

In the site settings it shows bootstrap 4.0 but the actual bootstrap in the site still uses the 3.7 version (bootstrap.css, js etc)

Dreamweaver does not convert a site from one version of Bootstrap to another. One quick way of doing a conversion is by using the DMXZone Bootstrap 4 extension. Watch this video to see how it is done Converting Bootstrap 3 Page to Bootstrap 4 - YouTube

Im not sure why you would want to convert your current BS3 site to BS4 seems a novel idea at best. BS3 is not going to stop working. If l were you l would leave it as BS3 and then for any new project going forward use BS4 to take advantage of the better flexbox layout classes included, other than that reason there is not a genuine one.

in my current site i had to write some JavaScript code to overcome layout issues which are dealt in in bootstrap4.

I was thinking of reducing this by moving to bootstrap 4

Before you attempt to migrate from  Bootstrap 3 to Bootstrap 4,, be aware of the code differences.

in any case its not a real conversion, is it ? Bootstrap 4 is probably back compatible so my current bootstrap 3 will work with the same code no?

However, i will be able to use the new features existing in BS4
