Bootstrap 4 SCSS can't compile

Can't compile the SCSS file from Bootstrap 4 because Dreamweaver is NOT UP TO DATE!

How long we have to wait for an update in DW?

The Dreamweaver update doesn't help, as it only ships the full-bloated static bootstrap files, instead of compiling the scss.

How can we update the built-in scss compiler, so the scss compiler can compile bootstrap 4, please?

Hi

You can compile SCSS files to css, if you download source files for Bootstrap 4 from https://getbootstrap.com/docs/4.0/getting-started/download/   and make a site using this folder in DW, you can compile the SCSS files by right click on SCSS files in Files panel and compile it

Kratika Agarwal, sorry to say that I have been using Prepros because of what Bootstrap states, namely

Source files

Compile Bootstrap with your own asset pipeline by downloading our source Sass, JavaScript, and documentation files. This option requires some additional tooling:

• Sass compiler (Libsass or Ruby Sass is supported) for compiling your CSS.
• Autoprefixer for CSS vendor prefixing

Should you require build tools, they are included for developing Bootstrap and its docs, but they’re likely unsuitable for your own purposes.

Dreamweaver does not possess an Autoprefixer.
