Browser-List in DW CS6 doesn't work

New Here ,
Jan 13, 2017 Jan 13, 2017

I can't reset my Browser list in Dreamwaver CS6.

If I remove all items in the List, and restart DW again, Safari ist still in the List again, and DW tells me that he can't read the browser list. The screen dialog tells me to remove al list items (which i already done before).

System is 10.9.5.

Where can i find the browser list on the hard drive? Is it possible to reset the list by removing the responsible file?

I suggest you try the following in the order listed.

Try Restoring Preferences: Unusual behavior in Dreamweaver? Try restoring preferences.

If that doesn't help, and if this issue is critical to your workflow, use Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems  to uninstall Dreamweaver, and re-install.

Let us know if it helped.

Thanks,

Preran

My Version is CS6, not CC.

I renamed the Dreamwaver CS6 Folder in User/Aplication Support/Adobe.

So Dreamweaver resets an builds a new Folder-set, but browser list still doesn't work.

I have to admit I haven't come across anything like this previously.

What happens when you uninstall browsers from your computer, and then add those that you desire to DW? You can then reinstall the other browsers. I don't think this is a great solution, but I would have tried doing it myself.

Thanks,

Try Deleting a corrupted cache file or renaming the Config folder to Config_BU and restarting Dreamweaver.

Wappler, the only real Dreamweaver alternative.
