I had never heard of Fusion Charts until you asked this question. However, I see that there are two versions of Fusion Charts: a basic one, and one designed for Dreamweaver: http://www.extendstudio.com/fusion-web-charts-for-dreamweaver-charting-solutions.html. Clearly the latter one is designed to work with Dreamweaver CS3 and above.

Since Fusion Charts produces Flash charts, you should be able to integrate a Fusion Chart into a web page, even if you don't have the Dreamweaver version. However, I notice that you say you're new to web development. My advice would be to learn how to build web pages with HTML and CSS before you start trying to introduce more advanced features. A solid understanding of HTML and CSS is vital to working successfully with Dreamweaver. Without it, you'll find web development an uphill struggle. Simply buying good quality tools doesn't make you into an expert overnight. There's much more to web development than most people realize when they first start off.

Hi Tracy,

If you have any questions regarding FusionCharts for Dreamweaver or if you need assistance  you can contact the Extend Studio Support department at support [at] extendstuio (dot) com.

It will also be great if you can tell me, in what kind of projects you will be using FusionCharts for Dreamweaver.

Thanks,

How is this product licensed?  Is it per domain or per developer?  In other words, if I buy a developer edition, can I use it on unlimited domains?

Hi Murray,

FusionCharts for Dreamweaver is licensed per developer/per website. In order to use it in an unlimited number of websites you need to purchase the "Developer License Unlimited" which authorizes product usage for unlimited time, by 1 (one) developer (PC/MAC), on unlimited number of domains.

Here is comparison table of all the available licenses: http://www.extendstudio.com/images/media/177/177.png .

Is it possible to upgrade a license (say from a 3-site to an unlimited-site license)?

Yes, you can upgrade to a new license by paying just the differential amount. To upgrade you just have to write an email to the sales department or the support department.

Thanks,

Catalin
