Help! I've used Dreamweaver for many many years. Suddenly it won't let me enter any of the ftp credentials. I can't enter ANYTHING into Username or Password fields. I've tried copy paste via keyboard, via right-click and typing manually. Nothing works! No info gets entered into those two fields. All other fields are working as expected.
I have restarted DW but that didn't help. I'm on a Mac.
Can't find anything like this here in support so help!

Restart your computer.
Go to Site > Manage Sites.
Select your Site from the list. Click the pencil icon to edit.
Click on Servers tab.
Highlight site definition & click the pencil icon to edit.
Select FTP or SFTP from the CONNECT drop-list.
You should be able to click inside the form field. Hit backspace key to delete old data and begin typing.
If that fails, Cancel and Create a New Site.

Thanks for your reply. I'm not able to input anything into the fields for Username or Password. The cursor wouldn't even get in there to type. Found a workaround until this gets figured out — only use mouse right click to first copy username from elsewhere, then click on Username field and right click on mouse and use Paste, then click "Save", then repeat for Password. Click "Save" and that seems to have kept the info in there. But can't get cursor in there to type manually.

Which macOS and version?
Are you having this problem in any other Creative Cloud apps?

1. Update your OS to the latest version of Sonoma. Apple fixed several reported bugs since 14 came out.
I think the latest version is 14.7, but it could be higher now.
2. Crashes are not typical. Try Restoring Preferences.

There were serious issues with DW constantly crashing on Sonoma that were not addressed until 14.3 as these were issues introduced by Apple and not Adobe. This also included code view locking up when attempting to right click. If you are in an environment that you require IT to update and they are not comfortable updating to the latest version as long as you are at 14.3 or later I can confirm those issues are now resolved as a fellow Mac user.
