Can't use relative includes in IIS 6

You may have run into this but some hosting cos. who are using IIS 6 have "turned off" using relative includes in "<!-- #include " statements. But, Dreamweaver generates them so you have to go in and manually change the 'file="../.." to 'virtual='/...' Is there any Preference that can be set to force "virtual" include definitions?

Click on the included contents in DW's Design view, and use the Property
inspector to switch from 'file' to 'virtual'.

Thanks, Murray,

This will work in some situations but DW is creating the "Connections/..." include as a "file" and this doesn't have a design representation.

No way to set the DW site default as "virtual", huh?

No. It's simple enough to change in the code.

There should be Tech Note on how to change the default. Not sure where the
Tech notes are kept these days.
